Describe yourself in 3-5 words?

Dynamic, Vibrant, Curious, Empathic, Kaleidoscopic

If you were a brand, what would your motto be?

Mind Body Game. We all have a “game” to play — the mind and the body are interdependent so we have to develop them together to raise our game. It’s like a formula: Elevate the Mind, Elevate the Body to Elevate the Game.

"I get to help people. Movement is a vehicle of self expression and through coaching, I can help people create a connection with themselves, release tension and anxiety, build confidence — it can be an empowering doorway to discovery."

What do you do for a living?

I am a Holistic Performance coach. I integrate, neurocognitive training with movement (strength, conditioning, mobility) and meditation, to help people elevate their performance, on the court and off.

What about your career path inspires you the most?

I think it’s two fold. First, I get to help people. Movement is a vehicle of self expression and through coaching, I can help people create a connection with themselves, release tension and anxiety, build confidence — it can be an empowering doorway to discovery.

Second, because of the broad scope of people that I’ve worked with. I’ve traveled the world and learned so much from the people, the cultures and communities I’ve been able to see and interact with.

If you could throw a parade of any caliber through your office, what type of parade would it be?

A Brazilian Carnival on the streets of Bahia….samba drums, headdresses and hips. That’s a dream. My outfit would be like a sunset with fuchsia, blood orange, tangerine and kumquat yellow sequins and feathers

If Hollywood made a movie about your life, whom would you like to see play the lead role as you?

Young Me: Zendaya.

Older Me: if I could bring her back, Miss Josephine Baker.

Both courgeous and creative women of color. They were and still are visionaries who pursued their dreams and refused to let someone else define them. They were curious, generous and sought to help others. I hope that I can grow to into this caliber of woman.

What is your favorite item in your closet?

I have these red suede YSL platform heels that are absolutely devine. They are the kind of shoe you build a wardrobe around.

"There is something that attracts me to Wilde Vertigga, which is odd because I really like symmetry. But I think my favorite Fashwire designer is .enugo. It feels chic and polished. The brand reminds me of my days in London."

You’re a new addition to the color trend for Fall 2020. What color would you be and why?

Turquoise… like Bahamian blue, where it’s almost translucent, bright and playful. Turquoise looks good on everybody. I think it’s versatile, compliments any color; and it’s happy.

Who is your favorite designer on Fashwire and why?

There is something that attracts me to Wilde Verttiga, which is odd because I really like symmetry. But I think my favorite is .enugo. It feels chic and polished. The brand reminds me of my days in London.

What was the last thing you googled?

The last thing I googled was books on the Polyvagal Theory.

When social distancing comes to an end, who is the first person you will see and why?

I hope that it will be my best friends Aly & Bri — they are just remarkable woman. Kind, intelligent, witty, beautiful and they love me unconditionally.
