Bògò celebrates the textile craftsmanship of Burkina Faso with a fabric made from the earth, rivers and sun of Mali. Bogolan in Bambara literally means made with mud, the manufacturing process involves a long preparation of the dye, created using clay, leaves and water. The vivid decoration of the fabric is reproduced by hand with designs that are symbols of local tradition. For its creations, Effei sources from Gie Cabes, a collective of artisans in the textile sector that aims to promote the craftsmanship of Burkina Faso and Mali by establishing a reliable supply chain that meets international criteria, offering job opportunities to marginalized communities.Details:
