The Moon Alavida bag has an adjustable shoulder strap, thanks to the knot that defines its length. This makes it wearable as a shoulder bag, handbag but also a belt-belt. Effei celebrates the textile art of Indian culture with Alavida, a cotton fabric hand-printed in India using the block printing technique.

Hand-printing with woodblocks is an ancient art form in India and many countries in East Asia. This ancient printing technique uses a hand-engraved wooden block that is dipped in dye and hand-printed onto the fabric. The result is a unique fabric that connects us to a rich tradition and history of handmade craftsmanship.
