The Orlando is a straw hat crafted from a lightweight woven hemp fiber, a hotly debated plant that grows naturally in temperate climates. This weave is biocompatible and eco-sustainable because hemp can be grown endlessly on the same field without depleting it. This weave is not bleached before dyeing, giving the color a natural, enveloping tone.

Thanks to this particularly elastic and durable material, the hat is crease-resistant and can be handled without special care and attention. However, keeping it rolled up for extended periods of time is not recommended, as it could lose its shape.

The Orlando hat is crafted in black and decorated with a tan suede band. It is a lightweight, cool, and sporty hat, suitable for all leisure and informal occasions. The workmanship is highly distinctive and has a strong artisanal feel. The skeins of braided hemp are sewn together, starting from the top and forming, one turn at a time, the shape of the headdress. The raw hat is then worked using only steam and heat, stretching it by hand over wooden forms until it takes on the desired shape, and then air-drying.
