All of Nataliya Nova’s Panama hats are hand-woven from Toquilla straw by skilled artisans in Ecuador. The lightness and flexibility of Toquilla straw is used to make hats that over time have become a symbol for Ecuador, being a fusion of nature, the manual dexterity of Ecuadorians, and their culture. The hat comes with a matching silk-twill ribbon, the ends flutter as you move. As a part of our Ukrainian artists’ supportive mission, all silk designs are created by local artists.
